For nearly 100 years, 301 East Butler Street in Bryan, Ohio, welcomed children as the site of Lincoln Elementary School until its eventual closure and demolition. Soon, the location will once again be a place for families to gather, thanks to the Lincoln Park inclusive playground project.

Bryan Parks & Recreation, with financial support from the Bryan Area Foundation & other donors, is converting the former Lincoln Elementary School site into an inclusive playground. Construction will begin in fall of 2023, with the playground expected to open in spring of 2024.

The new inclusive playground will provide a place for children and families of all physical, mental and social abilities to play, learn and grow. We are thrilled to see this underutilized property being converted into a space that will once again welcome laughter, foster connection, and serve residents and visitors alike.

Anyone interested in financially supporting this project can do so through the Bryan Area Foundation.
